The Digital Design Network Plus successfully hosted the Challenge Case Study 2 Launch Workshop on 24-25 February 2026.
Day 1 was hosted by the National Manufacturing Institute Scotland (NMIS), with Day 2 taking place at the University of Strathclyde, Department of Design, Manufacturing and Engineering.
The two-day workshop brought together researchers, industry representatives and digital design specialists to explore the latest developments within the network.
Attendees received updates on the outcomes of Challenge Case Study 1, Re-imagining the Drone Design Process, heard from a range of vendors operating in the digital design space, and participated in interactive sessions, group discussions and networking opportunities
The event also marked the introduction of Challenge Case Study 2, providing attendees with an overview of the new challenge and opportunities for future collaboration across the Digital Design Network Plus community.
The workshop provided a valuable opportunity for knowledge exchange, collaboration and community building, bringing together members of the network to help shape the future of digital design research and innovation.
