Our residential and sandpit was an opportunity for the team to reflect on work undertaken across the network.  It allowed us to bring together key partners from across the network and do a deep dive into our activity.  It was a vibrant and engaging 2.5 days, set in the beautiful surroundings of Moor Hall.

The residential portion of the event focused on reflecting on the Network’s achievements to date and exploring opportunities to diversify and advance our work, including reviewing the Digital Design Road Map and the metrics we currently use.

The sandpit element was designed specifically with early‑career researchers in mind. Across the two days, we provided practical support and guidance on areas such as grant development, NIAs, bid management, and collaborative project building.

We brought together academics and industry partners to scope new project ideas, share expertise, and help ensure a strong and lasting legacy for the Network.
