The Digital Innovation and Circular Econony Network+ are delighted to open applications for their latest round of DICE Network+ Flexible Funding, with over £270,000 available (at 80% FEC) to support innovative projects at the intersection of digital innovation and the circular economy.
This funding call offers opportunities to:
- Accelerate research in key challenge areas across the digital–circular economy interface.
- Build new collaborations by connecting academics with industry, policy, and third‑sector partners.
- Deliver real‑world impact through knowledge exchange placements, high‑potential feasibility studies, and demonstrator projects that turn research into practical solutions.
Funding opportunities:
- Knowledge Exchange Placements (KEPs) support short transdisciplinary collaborations between academics and external partners to advance a digitally enabled circular economy, offering up to £5,000 per placement, with a deadline of 9 March 2026.
- Feasibility studies fund early‑stage, exploratory, high‑impact research to accelerate digital‑circular innovation, providing up to £50,000 per project, with a deadline of 27 April 2026.
- Demonstrators enable teams to transform feasibility study outcomes into a minimum viable product or service for real‑world adoption, offering up to £50,000 per project, also with a deadline of 27 April 2026.
