What do you plan to achieve in Challenge 1?
In Challenge 1, our goal is to accelerate and enhance the digital design of drones by integrating AI-assisted shape synthesis with reduced-order aerodynamic models. This framework will enable rapid iteration and early-stage aerodynamic validation, significantly reducing reliance on slow, full-order CFD simulations and costly physical testing. By accessing CFD data to train surrogate models, we can deliver fast aerodynamic evaluations and control tuning within the design loop. Potential extension tasks with collaborators include building a requirement specification interface for automatic design constraint handling and linking digital design more tightly with physical prototyping.
